Hi there! I’m the proud owner, oyster wrangler, and head shell whisperer at Pelican Oyster Company, nestled on the sunny shores of Florida's Forgotten Coast. I spend my days knee-deep in the Gulf of Mexico, carefully tending to my oyster farm. My love for the sea and dedication to sustainable aquaculture are the heart and soul of what I do. From the moment these little mollusks are planted to the day they’re ready for harvest, I’m hands-on, ensuring every oyster is grown with care and attention. What started as a love affair with the ocean has blossomed into a boutique oyster farm serving up salty goodness at events all over.

I’m all about the nitty-gritty of oyster farming: planting, caring for, and yes, even chatting with my little mollusk friends to make sure they’re growing just right. Whether I’m cleaning, sorting, or counting oysters, each step brings me closer to delivering high-quality oysters that reflect the hard work and passion that go into growing them. My goal is to share the bounty of the Gulf in a way that respects the environment and creates a unique connection to the sea.
